huckelburgers

When we were in fourth grade - at least, I think it was fourth grade - we had a goofy class project where we were supposed to create some sort of business concept or something. I have no idea what anyone else created. I created HUCKELBURGERS. I even created a theme song for HUCKELBURGERS which went like this:

eat 'em up, yum!

Twenty years later, HUCKELBURGERS is now open for business. But it's not a hamburger joint which sells "poundburgers" or cheese-by-the-slice. It's... a blog. Kind of the same thing, I guess.

The blog content is primarily going to be some sort of mixture of social and political commentary. For those of you who don't know, among other hats I wear, I'm currently Co-Chair of the Green Party of the United States, and Government and Elections Committee Chair for the Illinois Green Party.

I'm going to add a couple of bells and whistles to the site as it develops over the next few days, and will likely move most of my blogging over here. I've been meaning to do this for years - I'm really not sure what took me so long.

Oh, the little logo up there - that's me, ca. age four. Really.
